CollegeCounts is Alabama’s Section 529 college savings plan, helping parents, grandparents, family, and friends save for future education expenses. The program offers tax advantages, flexible investment options, no minimum contribution requirement, and convenient automatic contributions.

Alabama ABLE Savings Plan

The Alabama ABLE Savings Plan allows individuals with disabilities to save for qualified disability-related expenses without jeopardizing eligibility for certain public benefits. These tax-advantaged accounts help support independence, health, and quality of life.

Alabama Prepaid Affordable College Tuition (PACT)

PACT is Alabama’s Section 529 prepaid tuition program, administered by the State Treasurer’s Office. While the program has been closed to new enrollment since 2008, existing account owners may access account information and payment details.
