State Treasurer’s Office Launches Loan Program for Eligible Alabama Distressed Colleges

MONTGOMERY – State Treasurer, Young Boozer, announced today that information regarding the Distressed Institutions of Higher Education Revolving Loan Program (the “Program”) is now available on the Treasurer’s website at Distressed Institutions of Higher Education Revolving Loan Program and open to receive applications. 

It was previously reported that the Treasurer’s Office was waiting on an Attorney General’s Opinion on the Program.  “We are in receipt of a response from the Attorney General and are opening this Program as defined by ACT 2023-278,” said Treasurer Boozer.
